New Artist announced for Untold Festival 2025

Metro Boomin, the architect of the hip-hop and trap sound of the last decade, comes to Romania for the first time, as part of the UNTOLD X anniversary edition, with an exclusive show that marks his only appearance at a festival in Europe this year. Considered one of the greatest producers of contemporary music, with an essential role in defining modern hip-hop, the American artist will take to the main stage of the UNTOLD festival for the first time, in a show that promises to redefine the festival experience.

With a unique vision and a recognizable brand of sound, Leland Tyler Wayne aka Metro Boomin has collaborated with the biggest names in the music industry: The Weeknd, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Future and Drake, Metro has transformed the modern urban sound into a mainstream phenomenon.

Metro Boomin began with a series of collaborations with young artists on the rise, such as Future or Young Thug. At just 20 years old, he was already producing hits such as “Karate Chop”. With over 31.7 billion streams on Spotify, over 47 million monthly listeners, multiple singles that debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, award-winning productions, albums that have become instant cults – all of this places him among the most relevant creators of global urban culture.

His artistic versatility has also extended to the cinematic realm. In 2023, he served as executive producer of the soundtrack for the animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, on which he collaborated with artists such as Lil Wayne, Nas, Offset, A$AP Rocky, and Don Toliver.
