More Than Music: UNTOLD Festival Partners with Renașterea Foundation for Life-Saving Health Initiative

With less than 30 days until the gates open for the 11th edition of UNTOLD, the world-renowned festival is proving that it’s about more than just unforgettable beats and headline acts. This year, UNTOLD is breaking new ground by becoming the first festival in Europe to offer free, on-site HPV testing and breast ultrasounds in partnership with the Renașterea Foundation.

Bringing Healthcare Into the Heart of the Festival

For the thousands of women attending this year’s event in Cluj-Napoca, the festival experience just got a lot more meaningful. A dedicated mobile medical unit, operated by specialists from the Cluj-Napoca Oncological Institute, will be parked in the immediate vicinity of the festival grounds.

For all four days of the event, your UNTOLD wristband is your ticket to free, discreet, and professional health screenings.

Why This Matters

As organizers note, a significant portion of the UNTOLD community is female. By integrating health education and preventative screenings into the festival atmosphere, the organizers are shifting the narrative: taking care of your health isn’t a chore—it’s an act of self-care and responsibility that fits perfectly into a modern, vibrant lifestyle.

“We want to transform a festival into a space that doesn’t just create memories, but can save lives,” says Mihaela Geoană, President of the Renașterea Foundation.

Andreea Esca, Ambassador for the Renașterea Foundation, believes this initiative is the perfect way to reach the younger generation. “I’d love for this to become something natural, even ‘cool’ to tell your friends: ‘I went to the festival and did something important for my health.'”
