3 rosé wines for the warm season

Choosing the perfect rosé

There are several wine selections to consider, and among them, rosé wines have recently seen a rise in popularity. These delicious pink elixirs are popular for being adaptable and refreshing, which makes them a great option for many different situations.

But with so many choices, to choose the best rosé may be a difficult challenge.

However note that it is not necessarily about choosing the best rosé, it is about choosing a wine according to your taste and preferences.

First, it’s crucial to understand that rosé wines come in a variety of colors, from soft pink to vivid salmon. You can determine a rosé’s flavor characteristic based on its color. Lighter-colored rosés typically have aromas of fresh berries, citrus, and floral notes and are more delicate and crisp.

Darker-colored rosés, on the other hand, could have stronger fruit notes, such as ripe strawberries, cherries, or even hints of tropical fruits. When deciding on the hue of your rosé, take into account your taste preferences for flavors and strength.

Tips

Pay attention to the grape varietals used in the production of the rosé. If you are not familiar with the grapes ask the responsible person in the wine shop

  • Take suggestions into consideration but keep your preferences
  • Consider the level of sweetness you prefer in a rosé wine
  • Participate in rosé-focused wine tastings if you will have one in your city. You can expanse your wine knowledge and find your favorite rosé styles by trying out various brands.

I have chosen three rosé wines that I recommend and that be ordered online.

Zaig – Pinot Noir Rose DOC

It is a well-balanced wine, slightly full-bodied due to the residual sugar dry extract, and with a moderate level of alcohol, which provides a sensation of roundness and freshness. With delicate notes of fresh red fruits such as strawberries, raspberry and slightly notes of rose petals it can become for sure a favorite of this season. It is a wine from Transylvania from the well known area of Lechinta.

La Plage Rose – Rasova

This is a blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Feteasca Neagra and Syrah.

La Plage Roze is fragrant and well-balanced, exhibits all the elements of an effective aromatic experience: a vivid pink hue and strong, well-balanced, and expressive notes. Ripe strawberries, nectarines, raspberries, cherries, and grapefruit are included, along with floral and mineral undertones, creating a wonderful “colorful” sensation.

Valahorum Busuioaca Rose

It is a lovely, delicate rosé wine with a pale rose color. Ripe cherries and raspberries are the main notes. Strawberries, red berries, and a lovely freshness are present on the palate. The wine is full-bodied, with a delicate texture, and a long aftertaste.

While it is still tasty and fresh right now, it will become more complex over the next two years.

A well-selected rosé can enhance the experience and lend a sense of elegance to any situation, whether you’re taking in a sunny afternoon, hosting a dinner party, or just enjoying a glass with friends. It can be enjoyed as such but wine is always better in the company, so make sure to gather your friends for a nice summer evening.

Lift your glass and start exploring the world of rosé wines!
