News about Untold Festival 2025

Just a few days befor Untold Festival, the organizers have revealed some insights about this year`s event. The press conference was organized right at the Cluj Arena and answered some questions and curiosities. In just two days the festival that ranked third worldwide will open it`s doors to thousends of attendants.

The offered a glipmse for the anniversary edition of UNTOLD X, which marks 10 years of existence of one of the largest festivals in the world. Details about the general production of the festival, about the  stages and the most spectacular  elements, of the main stage, were presented .

10 years after the first edition of the festival, the UNTOLD organizers are preparing a special moment in memory of Avicii, the first headliner to take the main stage in 2015. It is a tribute to the memory of one of the most influential artists of electronic music in recent years.

A joruney that comes to an end and marks a new chapter

“We are celebrating 10 years, and UNTOLD has been and is an extraordinary journey. We have managed, together with a dedicated team, to overcome many challenges and we among the best festivals globally . At UNTOLD, we have brought, since the first edition, storytelling elements and we have promoted traditions and folk tales. We have also included the fantasy part in everything that the UNTOLD experience means.” said Bogdan Buta, founder of Untold Festival

A main stage like never before

The organizers built the most ambitious set ever for a festival in Romania. It stretches over 100 meters in width, extending into the stadium’s grandstand area.

To ensure stability, the team used a specially designed system with over 300 tons of ballast for extreme weather conditions. They placed a 25-ton decorative element at the center of the stage. The team included over 2,000 square meters of visual elements. Nearly 1,150 square meters of LED screens, along with more than 1,100 lighting installations are all prepared for high-impact projections. They assembled the set using the largest scissor lift platform available in Europe—a rare piece of equipment in the entertainment industry.

10 years after the first edition of the festival, the UNTOLD organizers are preparing a special moment in memory of Avicii, the first headliner to take to the main stage in 2015. It is a tribute to the memory of one of the most influential electronic music artists of recent years.
